This 4-day, 3-night safari is the ultimate time-efficient circuit to witness Kenya’s premier wildlife. You’ll spend two days tracking the Big Five across the vast savannah of the Masai Mara, followed by a full day viewing rhinos, leopards, and prolific birdlife at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Day 1; Maasai Mara;
Depart Nairobi for a scenic 5 to 6-hour drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Masai Mara. After checking in for lunch at your lodge, you’ll head out for a thrilling afternoon game drive in search of lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2; Maasai Mara ;
A full day in the vast plains of Mara search for the big five as you explore the famous Mara reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives taken. Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3; Lake Nakuru;
Pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast proceed to the famous lake Nakuru, often referred to as the Pink lake for its great flocks of flamingoes. Besides birds there are a variety of wild game. Meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4; Nairobi;
Wake up for a final morning game drive around the lake’s shores. After lunch, you will depart on a relaxing 3-hour drive back to Nairobi, concluding your safari in the late afternoon.
